Pedro Pascal plays a detective in a new commercial for “Merge Mansion” mobile game

Pedro Pascal is loved by Game of Thrones fans for his role as Oberyn Martell in the series. Along with this, he has also starred in many films and shows, like HBOs recent hit ‘The Last of Us’. Quite recently, he was seen playing a stern detective, for a new set of commercials for a Mobile game called Merge Mansion.
Why did Pedro Pascal star in a Mobile Game Commercial?
Coming from TV projects, and films, shooting a set of minute-long commercials was an entirely different experience for the actor. Upon being asked about why he starred in the commercial for a mobile game, in an interview with Insider Pascal said, “I like the tone and atmosphere of this kind of experience that ‘Merge Mansion’ provides.”
“What I love is that different opportunities continue to emerge, and content continues to emerge in so many different ways,” he explained. Furthermore, he also added, “And I’m being introduced to the world of gaming in a way that the stories are as compelling to those that kind of had me and held my imagination as a kid and as a teenager and as a young adult and now.”
What are the Merge Mansion commercials about?
In case you haven’t seen the latest set of ads already, it features Pedro Pascal, in a live-action short, where he plays the character of Tim Rockford, a tenacious detective investigating what Grandma Ursula is up to.
“Some grandmas pass on family recipes, Grandma Ursula decades’ worth of secrets. Grab a plate, a really sharp knife and dig in. Bon appetit!” reads the description of the latest commercial!
