Some celebrities have such an elusive air that even an interview with them leaves you spellbound. They know how to make even the most mundane task enjoyable, such as drinking coffee. Pedro Pascal, star of The Last of Us and Game of Thrones, is enjoying a high time of his career, and he deserves it. Pascal has been repeatedly cited as the internet’s daddy, and he seems to have a theory about it.

Pascal thinks being called ‘daddy’ is more role-related

Pascal is aware of the crazy fan following he has achieved after starring in some of the biggest franchises ever, but he thinks being called the internet’s daddy has more to do with his roles. He told The Hollywood Reporter:

Drama Actors Roundtable: Pedro Pascal, Evan Peters, Kieran Culkin, Damson Idris & More

“Yeah, I am having fun with it. [The daddy thing] seems a little role-related. There was a period where the Mandalorian is very daddy to baby Grogu, and Joel is very daddy to Ellie. These are daddy parts. That’s what it is.”

What caused Pedro Pascal’s eye infection?

Pascal reminisced his Game of Thrones days, and said, “I remember, earlier on, because of Game of Thrones and the way my character died — speaking of touching — people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes. At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, I’d let them! And then I remember getting a bit of an eye infection.”
