Pedro Pascal might just win an Emmy for his portrayal of Mario in an SNL skit

The awards season is almost upon us and everyone is busy predicting who will be taking the golden trophy home this year. HBO shows like House of The Dragon and The Last of Us are some of the fan- favorites in this year’s Emmy Award contenders, with Pedro Pascal being one of the common choices for the best actor. And he might just win another Emmy for his SNL skit.

Variety predicts Pedro Pascal might win Guest Actor (Comedy) at Emmy 2023

Variety has been updating its prediction list as the Emmy nominations get closer, and it took it a step further when in their predictions, Pascal was slated not just to be nominated, but to win an award for his portrayal of Mario in SNL.

Jack Black wants Pedro Pascal to join the Mario series

In a recent interview with Gamespot, Black talked about the return of Bowser in future Mario movies. He said, “You know, I did a few Kung Fu Panda movies, and it was a different villain every movie. They may do the same thing.”

“You know, what if there is a more powerful, more evil villain? Then I may need to be turned to help Mario and the rest to defend our universe against some other unseen force of evil. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Wario. Pedro Pascal is Wario.”
