Paddy Considine jokes on instagram about Aegon II destroying Viserys’ model of Old Valyria

King Jaehaerys I chose Viserys as his heir to the throne because he knew Viserys could offer the calm and stability that the realm needed. With an albeit lenient hand, Viserys ruled the Seven Kingdoms for a long time that was marked by peaceful times. However, just after King Viserys’s death, the entire realm fell into utter chaos, trying to decide who should inherit the Iron Throne. The Blacks deem Rhaenyra worthy of power while the Greens vouch for Aegon II’s birthright.

With House of the Dragon season 2 afoot, we will finally get to see who emerges victorious after the epic Dance of the Dragons. In the meanwhile, Paddy Considine chose to poke fun at the recent episode of the HBO prequel that was released this week.

In the second episode of House of the Dragon season 2, we saw Aegon II losing his mind over the news of his son’s death. The King was heartbroken over losing his heir to the Iron Throne. More than that, he was threatened by the attack that rendered him weak and unguarded. In his fitful anger, Aegon II destroyed the intricate model of Valyria that his father Viserys built throughout his lifetime. The moment Aegon II starts bashing the elegant model, he gets engulfed by his rage.

After the episode premiered, Viserys actor Paddy Considine took to Instagram to share a hilarious meme based on the situation. The premise of the post centers around Viserys’s anger over Aegon II’s actions. He destroyed his father’s hard work in an instant.
