The cast of the Game of Thrones franchise has consistently been one of its brightest points. This feature was also seen in its prequel House of the Dragon, which shocked people even more on this year’s Emmy snub. Some of the most famous stars of the two shows, like Sean Bean (Ned Stark) and Paddy Considine (Viserys), have come together for a British action flick that will peer into the lives of improv actors.

House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones stars unite for ‘Deep Cover’

Directed by Tom Kingsley, Deep Cover stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and Paddy Considine as leads. They are joined by Game of Thrones’ Ian McShane, Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso) and House of the Dragon’s Sonoya Mizuno. The British comedy team of Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen, along with Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow from Jurassic World, wrote the original story that served as the basis for the Amazon Prime movie.

What is ‘Deep Cover’ about?

In the London-set film Deep Cover, three improv performers are employed by the authorities. They become entangled in the criminal underbelly of the city due to their innate tendency to “always say yes” without compromising their characters. The cops use the improv actors as back-up for low-level stings. The action comedy is produced by Metronome Film Co.

What is the release date of ‘Deep Cover’?

Deep Cover is yet to begin production. More details about the release date will be revealed once the filming commences.
