Game of Thrones on HBO was a television show behemoth in every respect, dominating audiences, ratings, and award shows for close to ten years. It appears like House of the Dragon, the prequel series, is traveling in a similar direction. However, even though the show got nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 2023 Emmy Awards, none of the actors managed to get any.
