Straightaway, Olivia Cooke suggested that Daemon and Aegon were the worst fathers but quickly realized other dads in the show might be even worse. Fabien Frankel pointed out that Otto Hightower, her character’s father, was terrible. However, Matt Smith noted that at least Otto spoke to his children, unlike Daemon, who barely interacted with his kids.
The interviewer then asked them to rank every father in the show. The list included Viserys, Daemon, Otto Hightower, Lord Corlys Velaryon, Aegon II, and Harwin Strong.
The cast debated who should be at the top and bottom of the ranking. Firstly, Corlys was placed at the top for being the best dad. Next was Harwin Strong, followed by Viserys and Daemon. Otto Hightower was deemed a worse father than Daemon, followed by Aegon at the bottom for being the worst father.
