Actor Matt Smith is one talented and lucky chap; he has been a part of three of the most famous franchises in the world. Be it a Marvel villain in Morbius, a former enigmatic Doctor Who, or a hot-headed Prince Daemon Targaryen in the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, he has seen the best and the worst of it all.

Game of Thrones has been in several controversies regarding the amount of sex scenes it featured during its run. Even though the prequel House of The Dragon reportedly has a lesser number of such explicit scenes, Matt Smith’s Daemon is in majority of them. And it might become a bit uncomfortable for a well-mannered bloke such as Smith.

During the House of The Dragon panel at SDCC 2022, Smith told ScreenRant:

“I don’t know, really. No one likes doing sex scenes. They feel quite exposing, do you know what I mean? But luckily, Sonoya [Mizuno], who plays Mysaria, was just really wonderful.”

We had an intimacy coordinator, and that all felt quite good and safe and stuff. Do I love that scene? I don’t know; I have a question mark against it. But that’s the world that we’re representing. That’s the world that George has written. That is the world of House of the Dragon. And we’re trying to represent the books as truthfully as possible.”

Do you think House of The Dragon will feature nudity as much as Game of Thrones? Tell us in the comments below!
