Game of Thrones has had a great history when it comes to award shows, still holding the record for the most number of Emmy wins in a single season. The prequel show, House of The Dragon, is following closely in its footsteps, already earning multiple awards and nominations. After grabbing the Best Drama Series and the Best TV Overall at The Golden Globes and Golden Tomatoes recently, the series has solidified itself as an adaptation done right. The show’s stars Matt Smith and Milly Alcock were also nominated for the Critics Choice Awards, and they were spotted together on the red carpet yesterday at the event.

Smith who plays Prince Daemon Targaryen in the Game of Thrones prequel was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, while Alcock who played the younger version of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen was put up for the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama series. Both of them dazzled brightly on the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards and shared a couple of light moments together.

In one of the interviews, Milly Alcock told ET online that it was still surreal for her to get nominated by the critics, and if she wins she would thank her mom in the acceptance speech.
