Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon was the most hyped show of 2022. So far it has checked out all the parameters that were placed before its premiere. One of them being the casting of actors for various roles, and just like its predecessor, House of The Dragon has managed to impress the audience in that field as well. Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the original series, was quite impressed by how it turned out to be.

Harington was impressed with the Game of Thrones prequel show

In a new interview with Extra TV during the premiere of his Apple+ TV show Extrapolations, Harington revealed that he’d watched “the first few episodes” of House of the Dragon.

I loved it. I think they’ve done a fantastic job with it. Really great job, and I think all the acting in it’s superb,” he said.

Why was it hard for Kit Harington to watch House of The Dragon?

Even though he loved it, the Game of Thrones star admitted it was hard for him to completely go through with the first season. He said, “It’s hard for me to watch because I lived in it for so long. There’s a pain there, you know? So I’m working my way through it slowly.”

When will House of The Dragon return?

The filming of House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in pre-production, with the casting currently in progress. HBO chief Casey Bloys has confirmed in an indirect way that House of The Dragon won’t be coming back before the summer of 2024.
