Joseph Quinn wins ‘Best Breakthrough Performance’ at the 2023 MTV Awards

Game of Thrones was an amazing platform that launched many breakout stars. Joseph Quinn, who people best know as Eddie Munson from the fourth season of Stranger Things, was also once a part of the Game of Thrones family. He played Koner, a young Stark soldier guarding the gate to Winterfell, in season 7, episode 4 of Game of Thrones. Quinn has recently been recognized for his amazing talent at the 2023 MTV Awards.

The Stranger Things star faced a tough competition in the Best Breakthrough Performance category, contending against the likes of Bella Ramsey of The Last of Us and Emma D’Arcy of House of The Dragon. While House of The Dragon couldn’t win a single award, The Last of Us managed to secure 3 at the 2023 MTV Awards.

When will Stranger Things Season 5 arrive?

We still don’t know when the fifth season of the highly awaited Netflix series will arrive, but at the Middle East Film & Comic Con in Abu Dhabi, David Harbour (Hopper) revealed that he will begin filming his scenes for the last season of Stranger Things in June, 2023.

Will Eddie Munson return in Stranger Things 5?

Fans love Eddie, and a lot of them were wishing really hard that he would return in the final season. However, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy denied the rumors, saying, “Highly unlikely. Highly unlikely. But, we hear you, world. We know. You’re obsessed with Eddie. So were we.”
