House of the Dragon stars attend The Other Place
Brought to you by the National Theatre, The Other Place is a psychological drama starring Yannis Philippakis (Foals), Emma D’Arcy, Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones), and Nina Sosanya (Love Actually). The Other Place was played in the Lyttelton Theatre on 27th September. Ewan Mitchell, Fabien Frankel, Harry Collett, Kieran Bew, Steve Toussaint, Bethany Antonia, and Emily Carey were present in the audience to cheer D’Arcy, as confirmed by westerosies.
What is The Other Place about?
In “The Other Place,” the father of Annie (D’Arcy) and Issy (Oliver) took his own life after a period of mental turmoil, which Annie may also experience. His brother Chris (Menzies) intervened, yet Annie grew distant and was eventually estranged during her teenage years.
Now in her twenties, she has come back, albeit reluctantly and with resentment, as Chris is fervently renovating the house for his new wife (Nina Sosanya) and stepchild Leni (Lee Braithwaite), and he intends to dispose of his brother’s ashes.
