House of the Dragon Season 2 will use a different “format” from Season 1
Production on a variety of movies and TV series may now proceed because the WGA strikes have ended. The return of the authors would allow for quicker filming and refilming even if the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon was not significantly impacted by the strikes. More information about the cast, characters, episodes, and narrative is emerging as the post-production process progresses quickly toward completion.
House of the Dragon is using a different format in the upcoming season
The Game of Thrones prequel is now in the post-production phase, and it won’t be long before we have a trailer and release date. We do have some more info about the upcoming season, as cinematographer Catherine Goldschmidt recently revealed in the Frame & Reference podcast hosted by Kenny McMillan that House of the Dragon Season 2 will use a different format from “last year’s big format”. They went in a different direction.
However, it is not clear yet what “format” she is referring to.
