House of The Dragon Season 2 filming shows citizens of Flea Bottom rise up against the Greens
The second season of Game of Thrones‘ predecessor House of The Dragon is presently under production in Spain. Fans are excited for Season 2, which has already started production and several new sets are being built at important sites. Yesterday, an important scene was shot in Cáceres under heavy security, once which might snowball into a bigger event later on in the series.
Citizens of Flea Bottom rise up against the Greens
As it appears from the images leaked from the set recently, all is not well for the Greens, even though they had secured a major victory. According to a local named Lorena Bustamante, she had a chat with a few extras from House of The Dragon who let in a bit about the scene being shot.
Apparently, quite a number of Flea Bottom residents were unhappy with Aegon II’s rise to power, and hated the new regime to the point they threw fish and fruit at Queen Alicent and Helaena during the royal funeral. Some were even getting physically aggressive, due to which the Royal Guards had to step in and scatter the crowd using force. Some were even chanting Rhaenyra’s name, calling out Aegon II as a usurper, making the situation even worse.
Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen’s Targaryen funeral procession
Recent photographs of a funeral procession with a huge dragon head prop and a casket containing burned corpses were leaked on Twitter. The child prince Jaehaerys Targaryen’s little golden casket, it transpires, is in another small golden coffin that was found inside a carriage, according to a number of pieces of evidence.
Parallels with Game of Thrones
A similar fight broke out in Game of Thrones Season 2, where an angry mob in Flea Bottom erupted in violence against Joffrey, Cersei, Tyrion, and Sansa as the citizens were starving due to the war Joffrey had started earlier. Sansa is rescued by the Hound, after which he leaves King’s Landing.
