New House of The Dragon images show Septas and Silent Sisters preparing for a funeral

Season 2 of the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon is now shooting in Spain, and things are progressing quickly. One of the front-runners for this year’s Emmy Awards, the HBO fantasy epic is vying for many nominations across various categories. Some more leaks from the sets in Cáceres have come into view, which shed light on some interesting details about the shoot.
Septas and Silent Sisters gather for a funeral
Security has been tightened recently at sites in Cáceres where House of The Dragon is filming after the arrival of the showrunner Ryan Condal, which means we won’t be getting pictures from the set as frequently as before. However, some of the older photos leaked by the Redanian Intelligence show a couple of actors dressed as Septas and Silent Sisters gathering in King’s Landing.
Who are the Silent Sisters in House of The Dragon?
An order of women who practice the faith of the seven is known as the Silent Sisters. They are frequently referred to as the Stranger’s wives and handmaidens since they work for the Stranger. Their names derive from the vows of virginity and quiet they each make when they are initiated. Except for the eyes, they are entirely covered and dressed in grey. Their primary duty is to prepare bodies for funerals following death.
