House of The Dragon Season 2 has just finished filming in Spain quite recently, and by the looks of it, it is going to be a lot more eventful than the first season. A lot more details about the plot, sets, costumes, and cast are being revealed by mysterious ravens on a regular basis, and the latest development hints at more cast members joining HBO’s esteemed fantasy project.

Aaron Hodgetts has joined the cast of House of The Dragon

Aaron Hodgetts, who played Taylor Goodbridge in the long-running TV series Doctors, has been confirmed to be filming in Cáceres at the same time as House of The Dragon. There is no other show or film currently being shot in the town other than the Game of Thrones prequel, and many suspect they might be playing Daeron Targaryen, Alicent Hightower’s third son who has largely been absent so far from the screen.

Jamie Kenna and John Paul Hurley have also been cast in House of The Dragon

While Jamie Kenna’s (Peaky Blinders) role has not been revealed yet, we do have some information about the role John Paul Hurley (Wild Bill) is supposed to play. Hurley has been cast as Lord Darry in Season 2, who is a major supporter of the Blacks, playing a crucial part in the war. Darry’s descendant, Willem Darry, was the one who escorted Viserys and Daenerys to safety after the fall of the Targaryens in King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.
