Game of Thrones’ predecessor, House of the Dragon, is now shooting nonstop. Since so many anxious fans have descended upon Cáceres and Trujillo, for clicking pictures in the past couple of days, security has been tightened around the set. As production moves forward, we might not get sneak peeks at the shooting like we used to, but we do have some exciting news from the sets.

Three new cast members join House of The Dragon

Filming is currently going on in two locations, one in Spain where most of the cast members are present, and two back at the Leavesden Studios in the UK where it originally began. Anna Francolini of Solo: A Star Wars Story was recently seen filming at Leavesden, according to a report by the Redanian Intelligence. It has been speculated that she might play Jeyne Arryn, the late Queen Aemma Arryn’s sister, in Season 2.

Actors Scroobius Pip (Venom: Let There Be Carnage) and Ralph Davis (SAS: Rogue Heroes) were spotted on set in costume during the filming of the funeral scene in Spain, however, their roles haven’t been identified yet.

House of The Dragon previously added 4 cast members

4 cast members were previously announced by the official House of The Dragon Twitter account:

  1. Abubakar Salim as a sailor in the Velaryon fleet, Alyn of Hull
  2. Gayle Rankin as a healer of Harrenhal, Alys Rivers
