Actor Harry Collett, who brings Jacaerys Velaryon to life in the hit HBO series House of the Dragon, recently made a shocking confession alongside his co-stars Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, and Bethany Antonia. While discussing the show’s latest season, Collett casually dropped a bombshell.

Harry Collett confesses he’s only read one book

While discussing the show’s latest season, House of the Dragon star Harry Collett made a stunning admission he’s only ever read one book in his entire life. But what’s even more surprising is that the book isn’t even a George RR Martin novel, despite the show being based on Martin’s Fire & Blood. His co-stars were shocked and teased him good-naturedly, saying he was outing himself and might soon be embarrassed by his lack of reading experience. The young actor disclosed this during the Buzzfeed Celeb joint interview,

Harry said, “I’m going to say The Hunger Games that’s, you know, that’s the only book I’ve read ever.Shocked by his statement about only reading Suzanne Collins’ dystopian thriller, his co-stars laughed and remarked, “You’re outing yourself… you’re not embarrassed you… you will be.”

Harry Collett Opens Up on Season 3

Harry Collett, the actor behind Jacaerys Velaryon in House of the Dragon, recently opened up about his character’s fate in Season 3. Collett shared his surprise and relief upon learning that Jace survives Season 2, and his thoughts on the infamous ‘death call’ that actors receive before their character’s demise.

 “It got to the point where we read the last episode in the script read, and it was just a surprise. I went up to Ryan [Condal], and I was like, ‘Dude, I thought this was it? I thought I was gonna die!’”
