What is The Rise of the Dragon all about?
The Rise of the Dragon is a sequel to Fire and Blood. And GRRM is proposing as a more in-depth look at the House of Targaryens. The novel will cover the same time span as the first book, and it will tell the story of the Targaryens from the rise to the Dance of the Dragons.
That being said, it is going to be a graphic novel that will capture the story being told in the TV series the House of the Dragon. According to what Martin has announced, it will be available in US bookstores within a month. Judging by how successful the TV series has been, there’s no doubt that the graphic novel will do just as well and will be available in Italian bookstores soon.
