Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey (Cersei) to headline action-thriller ‘Ballistic’
Lena Headey, who starred in Game of Thrones, is an amazing performer. Her portrayal of Cersei Lannister on the program was so intense that some viewers developed a hate for her outside of the show. However, devoted followers acknowledge and value her for the same reason: her outstanding performance. She will now appear in Ballistic, an upcoming action movie.
Lena Headey to lead alongside Amybeth McNulty in Ballistic
Headey’s Game of Thrones character Cersei was able to avenge all her children’s deaths, despite meeting a rather unimpressive end herself. Lena Headey will continue on her vengeful path, now in a different role, in Ballistic. The 300 star will play alongside Stranger Things fame Amybeth McNulty in the film, which is written and directed by Chad Faust.
What is Ballistic about?
The action-thriller Ballistic centers on a mother (Headey), who works for a firm that manufactures munitions. Her son’s death in Afghanistan crushes her. After learning that her son’s death was caused by a gunshot from her factory, her despair transforms into wrath and a desire for retribution.
What is the release date for Ballistic?
Ballistic is currently in pre-production. More details about the release date will be revealed as filming progresses.
