The discrimination against women is a curse that our society still bears even in the 21st century. Gender-based violence is a mockery of the social values we strive so hard to perfect. According to a recent study, about 97% of women have faced some kind of molestation in their lives. It is an alarming sign that shows how unsafe our world has become for half of humanity. Game of Thrones’ Esmé Bianco filed a federal lawsuit against Marilyn Manson a year ago accusing him of rape and other acts of sexual violence. The charges have been recently updated, thanks to Marilyn’s new shenanigans.

According to an updated report by Insider, Manson allegedly tried to “silence” Bianco using underhanded methods after being accused of sexual assault. In her updated complaint to the 2021 suit, Bianco detailed how she signed a contract with Deftones in April 2022 to take part in a photo shoot that would be used in artwork for an upcoming tour.

As per the reports, after she participated in the photo shoot, Manson supposedly found out about the deal and “proceeded to call the band’s lead singer and confront him” over the band’s “decision to work with” her. The court documents go on to state that Bianco suffered “the loss of exposure from images being used during the Deftones’ world tour” and the lost gig “resulted in reputational damage and a loss of future economic opportunity with the Deftones”.

The added allegations now accuse Manson of  “working to silence Ms. Bianco through threats, intimidation, and coercion”.
