Climate change is a serious environmental issue all over the globe, and whether we take it into account or not, we have seen some drastic weather conditions in the past couple of years. There have been several reports about governments turning a blind eye to the ongoing issue, and it has irked a number of citizens who gathered in The Hague, Netherlands, yesterday to protest. Extinction Rebellion is a global environmental movement with its headquarters in the UK. Its declared mission is to use nonviolent civil disobedience to pressure governments into taking action to prevent climate system tipping points, biodiversity loss, and the threat of societal and ecological collapse.
