Edinburgh sci-fi con will take you into the world of Westeros, Hogwarts & Star Wars
Sci-fi and comic cons are some of the best events through which nerds like us get to meet each other and share our craziness for a particular franchise. They often give you the chance to meet some of your favourite actors from a show or a movie, and get your own signed goodie or a photograph to cherish for the rest of your life. The Capital Sci-Fi Con at Edinburgh has returned after a long time, and there you can meet up with stars from Game of Thrones, Lord of The Rings, and Star Wars franchises.
The Edinburgh Sci-fi con has returned after a year-long wait, which is being held on February 11 and 12. The event gives 100 percent of the profits to the Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). To date, the Capital Sci-Fi Con has raised over £337,000 for CHAS.
A dedicated area of the O2 Academy will be set out for celebrity guests where fans can get autographs and selfies. This year’s panelists include James Cosmo (Jeor Mormont) from Game of Thrones, Bernard Hill from Lord of the Rings, and Angus MacInnes from Star Wars.
