Fans compare Joel Miller from The Last of Us to Stranger Things’ Jim Hopper

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon completed its first season last year, and we might have to wait for at least a year for the second season to arrive. The next big thing on HBO’s calendar is the TV adaptation of the popular game The Last of Us. Headed by two Game of Thrones alum as the leads, Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie, the series is already gathering huge rounds of applause for its emotional and engaging storyline. Some of the elements of the show are also being compared with Netflix’s Stranger Things, as fans began to notice a few similarities.

A number of Twitter users couldn’t help but notice Pedro Pascal’s Joel had more than a few things quite identical to Stranger Things’ Jim Hopper, played by David Harbour. Have a look at some of the comments:
