Fans are ecstatic after HBO announces House of The Dragon release date

The second season of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, now in production in Surrey and Leavesden Studios, seems to be a lot more action-packed than the first. Amazing information regarding the actors, setting, clothing, and plot is being leaked by curious locals at regular intervals. The most current clips depict the devastation left behind by a conflict with significant casualties on both sides.

The loss of someone close brings Criston Cole to his knees

Bourne Woods in Surrey has been a hotspot for the last couple of days for House of the Dragon filming, and it has been surmised that a major battle is taking place in this area. In one of the more recent leaks by a local via Redanian Intelligence, it was reported that a battered Criston Cole was leaning on his knees close to a burnt body, either dead or heavily injured.

Who might be the dead/injured person in the above scene?

There are not a lot of people who Criston Cole holds dear to himself in Fire & Blood. Looking at the ongoing storyline, the best possible explanation would be Aegon II, who gets heavily burnt and gravely injured in the battle. Cole might be mourning his failure to protect Queen Alicent’s eldest son, and the King, and contemplating what to say to her when they meet.
