House of the Dragon has several references to Game of Thrones, and although though the story is stand-alone, the popularity of the original series aided the prequel. Thanks to the new HBO epic, we visited locales we hadn’t seen since Game of Thrones, and it now appears that another chilly location may be making a fast return. It’s predicted that The Wall will appear in Season 2.

House of the Dragon completed filming scenes involving The Wall in Bourne Woods

A few days ago, another set close to the place where the Battle of Rook’s Rest is being currently filmed was discovered by various locals, which was covered with snow artificially. After that a number of actors dressed as Brothers of The Night’s Watch were seen trotting down that path. Quite recently, another local has reported that the snow set has been cleared out, meaning scenes involving The Wall have been completed.

The House of the Dragon crew was cordial and nice

Reportedly, the locals loved interacting with the crew and the actors, and they shared little bits of information with them. For example, for every tree they use they replace it with a new one. One of the locals said, “Shoutout to the security team who are so friendly and really nice to chat too and doing a fab job! Good atmosphere and amazing to see a lot of the cast with amazing prosthetics etc.”
