Con of Thrones to return in August 2023

Every year, A Song of Ice and Fire fans used to gather at the Con of Thrones to celebrate their love for the land of Westeros. Due to the raging pandemic, the convention was hit with cancellation, not once but twice. It was first canceled in 2020, as the world was hit with the first wave of coronavirus. And then once again, the fan convention was canceled in 2021, to avoid the further spread of the virus. However, with a lot of luck and after successfully fighting off the pandemic, the Con of Thrones will return this year in August.
Mischief Management has announced a new convention this summer at the Hyatt Regency Orlando from August 25-27. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. EST. Melissa Anelli, CEO of Mischief Management, told Winter Is Coming, “We are so excited to bring Con of Thrones back to the fans for another year. Every previous event has seen the fandom display a level of passion, enthusiasm, and creativity that inspires and thrills us. And Orlando is such a welcoming city for this kind of geek-out!”
Guests for Con of Thrones 2023 will be announced at a later date and might include stars from both Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon. Are you looking forward to attending the con? Tell us in the comments below!
