Actors in superhero and fantasy movies often have to learn complicated characters and stories. For Joseph Quinn, the journey to becoming Johnny Storm in Marvel’s Fantastic Four was no exception. He received guidance and advice from a fellow actor and friend, Pedro Pascal, who had already made a name for himself in the Marvel universe as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. Quinn himself played a small role in Game of Thrones once.

Joseph Quinn, the upcoming Johnny Storm in Marvel’s Fantastic Four, received advice from his Gladiator 2 co-star Pedro Pascal on joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Interestingly, Quinn didn’t realize they would soon appear in the MCU together. Joseph Quinn shared that Pascal was excited for him to take on the role of The Human Torch and offered valuable insights. In an interview with Total Fims, he said
“It transpired that he was in talks to do it as well. Not that he concealed that from me. But then that started moving his way, and we were talking about it, its potential, and the prospect of working together again.
The thrill of working together
The two friends were thrilled about the prospect of working together again. Quinn praised Pascal as a “wonderful man” and a “good friend,” highlighting their enjoyable conversations about the project. Before diving into the Marvel universe, Quinn and Pascal will star together in Gladiator 2 alongside Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, and Connie Nielsen.
“He’s a wonderful man. He’s a good friend. I remember talking to him in the hiatus about the potential of doing The Fantastic Four. He was telling me how excited he was for me to do it. It’s one we were both excited about. He’s a hilarious, talented man. We’re having a good time.”

The actor’s entrance and exit in the fourth season of Game of Thrones were unforgettable, presenting us with one of the series’ most vibrant and intriguing characters, Oberyn Martell—the Red Viper and Prince of Dorne.
