We have some exciting news to share about the upcoming season! Wiki of Thrones has received information that two major characters are set to return in House of the Dragon season 2: King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) and Ser Harrold Westerling (Graham McTavish). A tip by our source has revealed this information, and rest assured, we can gear up to see the two characters make their comeback.

Paddy Considine to return in House of the Dragon Season 2?

You also might be wondering how the show can bring a man back from the dead. Well, anything can happen in George R.R. Martin’s world since he even made Jon Snow come back to life. But we don’t think anything of this sort will happen in House of the Dragon Season 2.

Our speculation is that Paddy Considine aka King Viserys is returning to the show in a flashback but we have no information about about the scenes involving him in season 2. It’s not hard to believe that we might see him again in a flashback scene, especially since there are speculations about seeing Aemma Arryn in a flashback as well. More interestingly, we already know that King Jaehaerys might also be seen in House of the Dragon Season 2.

Considine’s return to the show has been kept under tight wraps so we don’t know for sure what role he would be playing in furthering the story. King Viserys was the last bridge between Rhaenyra and Alicent.

With him gone, things are only headed in the wrong direction.

Our tipster has revealed that the actor playing Ser Harrold, Graham McTavish was seen on the sets of House of the Dragon Season 2, in his armour. The last we saw of Ser Harrold was when Otto Hightower commanded him to assassinate Rhaenyra. Now, Season 2 might witness him reaching Dragonstone and pledging allegiance to Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. Moreover, he might also act as the Lord Commander of her Queensguard.

This arc may seem hard to believe, but we’ve seen it happen before with Ser Barristan Selmy who left King’s Landing and went to Daenerys Targaryen and became the Lord Commander of her Queensguard.
