House of The Dragon’s North Wales filming will involve Rhaenyra’s sons Aegon & Viserys

Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon season 2 is currently in the works at HBO. So far, fans have showered the fantasy epic with love, just like its predecessor, dishing out characters, storylines, sceneries, and everything else that makes it so engaging. There have been some new castings in the show, which also involve child actors. After all, Season 2 is going to be all about the children.

House of The Dragon will film scenes with Rhaenyra’s sons Aegon & Viserys in Wales

Quite recently it was reported that the filming for House of The Dragon will move on to North Wales once it is finished in Spain, where currently several important episodes are being filmed. According to a report by North Wales Live, the shooting will reportedly involve two toddlers: Rhaenyra’s sons Aegon & Viserys, and they might be getting some action scenes as well.

House of The Dragon will move to North Wales after Spain for production

According to the fan account House the Dragons which has repeatedly provided reliable information, the House of The Dragon crew will be filming at several locations in North Wales such as Trefor Quarry (Gwynedd) and Snowdonia National Park between June 12th to July 7th. The HBO team is already at these locations constructing sets, and scenes involving children around the age of young Aegon and Viserys with lots of music will be filmed.

House of The Dragon Season 2 will be about the kids and dragons

Showrunner Ryan Condal recently had a chat with Indiewire and said, “This second season is about the kids that we only saw for a couple of episodes at the end of the series that are now grown up to be young adults who have dragons, who are of riding and fighting age, who have opinions of their own and a desire to get out there and defend the family claim.”
