Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton) to star in BBC’s upcoming crime thriller Wolf
Game of Thrones boasted a great collection of some of the best villains in television history. An ambitious villain makes the viewers praise his motivations, while some are purely sadistic. Iwan Rheon’s Ramsay Bolton was a mix of both, though more sadistic than ambitious at times. Rheon is soon to appear in another storyline dealing with a psychopath, but this time his character might be on the receiving end of it.
The Game of Thrones star has teamed up with Doctor Who’s Sacha Dhawan for BBC’s new crime drama series Wolf. Dhawan and Rheon play Honey and Molina, a pair of mismatched professionals who are forced to work on a job together against their wishes. Based on Mo Hayder’s Jack Caffery novel series, the official synopsis of the show reads:
“Obsessed with the neighbour he believes murdered his 10-year-old brother in the ’90s, Jack tries to right the wrongs of others around him — but at what cost?
Meanwhile, at an isolated house in Monmouthshire, the wealthy Anchor-Ferrers family have found themselves victim to a psychopath’s cruel games. When the two stories collide, the series turns into a nail-biting and deeply disturbing race against time.”
