Hannah Murray (Gilly) spotted at a Comic Con looking vastly different from her Game of Thrones days
Game of Thrones stars are making their mark all over the globe these days. These highly talented actors have gone on to become some of the most successful and recognizable faces in the acting industry. However, there are some who took a break from their hectic lifestyle, to focus on other things in life. Game of Thrones’ Hannah Murray, who played Gilly, a wildling who later becomes the love interest of Samwell Tarly in the show, is one of them, and was recently seen exploring her geeky side at a comic con, looking very different from her acting days.
Murray’s career was kicked off by the critically acclaimed teen show Skins, where she played a mentally unstable teen Cassie with blonde hair. Her most recent appearance at a Comic Con event is a far cry from her looks when she got her first big break. She was spotted clicking pictures with fans wearing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer t-shirt and hair flow loose in a side parting, ditching her golden locks.
Hannah Murray played the role of Gilly on Game of Thrones from Season 2 to Season 8. Gilly is the wife/daughter of Craster, a wildling, and flees with Sam after the massacre at the Craster’s Keep. She has a son who she later names Sam after her rescuer.
