HBO’s witty response to Game of Thrones sequel with Jon Snow rumors
The world of Westeros is slowly spreading its roots! The success of Game of Thrones tempted the execs at HBO to venture forth into the mystical realm of George R. R. Martin’s novels, as a result, we have House of The Dragon, the first prequel, to be released very soon. House of The Dragon will be here in August, and HBO recently released a second teaser trailer featuring the dragons for the first time. However, HBO has also been playing around with several ideas that are set in the world of Westeros, and the most recent one will possibly make Jon Snow fans very happy.
HBO is eyeing another Game of Thrones spinoff show focusing on the tale of Jon Snow. Furthermore, the spinoff will see the return of Kit Harington to his popular character. However, HBO and Harington’s representatives haven’t issued an official statement yet. This might quite possibly be the sequel fans have been wishing for ever since Game of Thrones ended in 2019.
The only response fans have received yet from HBO themselves is a post that pokes fun at the news itself. While neither confirming nor denying the rumors, the official Twitter account for HBO Max recently shared a picture of Jon Snow from season 1. The post was accompanied by a reference to the iconic line frequently uttered by Rose Leslie’s Ygritte, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” HBO wrote, “I know nothing.”

This is going to be fantastic if it’s true. While there are some negative fans who don’t see the point in furthering Jon Snow’s story, I would very much like to see it. We may get to find out what else happens. In my view, the end of Game of Thrones was an unsatisfying cliff hanger. It didn’t even solve a lot of mysteries either. Hopefully this Jon Snow sequel is true and I’m very happy to hear HBO’s answer, which is a “yes”.
