Emilia Clarke recalls the time when Brad Pitt bid $120,000 to watch a Game of Thrones episode with her
Game of Thrones is the best show ever, and Emilia Clarke is one of the hottest Queens in all the seven kingdoms. Given all that, how far would you go to watch an episode of the show with the Khaleesi herself? Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt once made a bit for exactly that, and sadly enough, he didn’t win. However, this gesture certainly won Emilia Clarke’s heart, who believes it was her best day ever!
In a recent interview with The Guardian, the Game of Thrones’ Mother of Dragons recounted her ups and downs in life so far. Her face lit up when she recalled the incident. It was the most bizarre and exhilarating moment of her life, when Brad Pitt bid $120,000 to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with her.
It was Sean Penn’s annual gala for Haiti, and she was surrounded by “creme de la creme celebrities”, and no one was bidding. And then – incredulous stage whisper – “Brad fucking Pitt comes to my rescue! I thought I was going to spontaneously combust.” (He was outbid by Clarke’s friend, who bid $160,000) “It was, to this day, the strangest, most glorious moment of my adult life.”
Emilia Clarke also outbid Leonardo DiCaprio for a painting by Josh Smith, so it’s safe to say she stole the evening. What do you think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
