The third installment of Sony’s Venom series is also supposedly its last. The trailer picks up right after MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Rhys Ifans appeared as his The Amazing Spider-Man character, Kurt Conners/the Lizard. Venom appears in the post-credit scene of that movie, and it seems like he just managed to hop back to his universe. However, things are worse here as Venom reveals his kind has launched an attack on Earth.

Rhys Ifans appears for a brief moment in the trailer, piggybacking at the back of a car. However, we do not know what role he will be playing in the Venom threequel.

What is the release date for Venom 3?

Venom: The Last Dance is scheduled to be released later this year on October 25th, 2024.
