The kids on House of the Dragon season one stole all our hearts. Everyone adores the Velaryon brothers since they have been innocent throughout the season, with many fans even praising Rhaenyra Targaryen for raising them so well. Jacaerys Velaryon (Harry Collett) and Lucerys Velaryon (Elliot Grihault) engaged in some intense swordfight practice, with the younger being pushed to the ground. But, it turns out the actors loved shooting sword fight scenes.

Elliot Grihault declared this favorite prop to be the sword in a behind-the-scenes interview with HBO. “On and off that set, I would just literally pull it out and start waving it about. I mean, that’s what I did when I was little, waving around lightsabers. So it was just a really great feeling,” he says. “I miss my sword,” Harry says with a chuckle, “I loved it. It’s like in Harry Potter, where everyone has different wands. Everyone here has a different sword and that sort of defines their personality, which I think is great.”

The young actors have admittedly loved to be on set together. “Whenever we are together, it’s kind of mayhem but in a good way,” says the younger. Leo shares, “We have this brother relationship. We always make each other laugh.”

We loved seeing the boys on-screen together. All the younger actors seemed to have had loads of fun behind the scenes. Which new generation kids did you love the most? Tell us on our discord server.
