The Jetty centres around Detective Ember Manning, played by Jenna Coleman. The story unfolds in a picturesque Lancashire lake town. A mysterious fire has connections to a cold case of a missing person and an illicit relationship between a man in his 20s and two underage girls. Regarding his role in The Jetty, Glynn-Carney revealed that his character is quite problematic. He added humorously, “surprise, surprise,” referring to his history of playing similar roles.
The Jetty will premiere on July 15 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
