Not just the fandom, but it seems like House of the Dragon is even dividing magazine issues and news publications. To celebrate the second season of the HBO show, Den of Geek revealed a split issue where Team Black and Team Green get their own covers of the magazine.
Subsequently, Team Green showed a more staunch stance as King Aegon II actor Tom Glynn-Carney held no bars while claiming that the fans who support Team Black are straight-up boring.

The generational conflict in House of the Dragon will enjoy the center stage in season 2. While there’s no right or wrong in their eyes, they will do everything they deem necessary to get ahead of their rivals. The actor who plays King Aegon II in House of the Dragon, Tom Glynn-Carney has candidly claimed that the fans supporting Team Black are boring. He said in the Den of Geek magazine feature,
“All these people choosing Team Black are driving me insane. Just stop being so boring! You need to spice up your life. You need some danger. You need some betrayal. You need some vileness.”
It seems like Carney is agreeing that the Green faction is adhering to no boundaries and going all in to sustain their power and claim to the Iron Throne. Aegon’s character in the show is portrayed as one with no care in the world. However, no that a full-blown war is on the horizon, he seems to have woken up to the reality.
Moreover, in the interview, Carney further stated that Aegon is coming into his own in the upcoming season. He is embracing the role of King and will do anything to keep power in his own hands.
Such teasers and hints of massive battles in House of the Dragon season 2 are getting fans more excited than ever. House of the Dragon season 2 premieres on HBO Max on June 16.
