The Last of Us Part II director says Naughty Dog’s next game might be their best yet!

The Last of Us is one of the most famous video game franchises of all time. Hence when the TV adaptation was announced a few years ago, a lot of fans got really excited and had high expectations for the series. Fans are already waiting for the developers to drop a third The Last of Us game, and we might get just that!

The Last of Us Part II director teases new game!

The Last of Us Part II co-director Kurt Margenau recently replied to a tweet from The Game Awards’ official account asking what peoples’ favorite Naughty Dog game was. He replied “the next one” with a winking emoji.

How close will be Season 2 to The Last of Us Part 2?

In his recent interview with Esquire, the show’s star Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel on The Last of Us, answered several questions selectively picked for him from the internet. One of them was whether The Last of Us Season 2 will follow the source material closely. He said: “It will stay true to the game, like entirely, I think.”

The Last of Us showrunners already have plans for Season 3

Druckmann further said, “Because we’re making the show, we know Left Behind, we know Last of Us Part II, so there are things, like we could have Marlene talk about Riley early on, because we have a better understanding of who Riley is, because Left Behind has already come out. We know where a lot of Season 2 and 3 will go, so we could start laying things in earlier.”
