The Last Kingdom’s Harry Gilby has allegedly been cast as Daeron in House of the Dragon
Has House of the Dragon found its Daeron?

House of the Dragon has introduced us to the principal members of the Blacks and the Greens, and the conflict has now truly commenced. Yet, several pivotal characters are still making their entrances and remain unseen. Among them, the arrival of the youngest dragonrider for the Greens, Prince Daeron the Daring, is highly anticipated. And there are rumors he has already been cast.
Harry Gilby might be playing Daeron Targaryen
It has been confirmed that Daeron Targaryen will be seen in House of the Dragon Season 3. We have already seen his dragon, Tessarion, and fans are excited to see who will play the young prince. With several rumors already taking flight on social media, one of the most common ones seems to be Daeron being plated by Harry Gilby from The Last Kingdom.

Harry Gilby had previously auditioned to play Aemond
The role of Vhagar’s one-eyed rider nearly went to another actor, as Ewan Mitchell’s co-star from The Last Kingdom also auditioned for the part. Harry Gilby, known for his portrayal of Æthelstan in the show’s fifth season, was a contender for the role. In an earlier interview, Gilby revealed, “I went for that part. Yeah, I did. I think a lot of people went for that part. It was really cool too.”
