Take a look at the trailer of Aidan Gillen's new American science fiction TV series
Aidan Gillen who played Lord Petyr Baelish in the epic fantasy drama series Game of Thrones is playing an important role in the upcoming American science fiction drama series called ‘Project Blue Book’.
The TV series is inspired by true events of the real-life Project Blue Book, which revolved around various secret investigations carried out by the U.S. Air Force on around 12,000 UFO encounters in the 1950s and 1960s.
Aidan will be playing the lead role of Dr. Josef Allen Hynek, based on the real-life person of the same name, who was an astrophysicist, and ufologist, who undertook the investigation after being summoned by the Air Force.
The TV series will also include other stars like Laura Mennell, Michael Harney, Ksenia Solo, and Michael Malarkey. Produced by Robert Zemeckis, it will have 10 episodes and is all set to be aired this year in winter on the History Channel.
The trailer of the series was released at this year’s Comic-Con, which Game of Thrones couldn’t be a part of due to in-production constraints. Check out the trailer for the TV series here:
