“Set Fire to the Rain”: Team Black picks their anthem for House of the Dragon Season 2
The final official trailer for HBO’s upcoming second season of House of the Dragon has been released. This was made public concurrently with the release of the chess-themed House of the Dragon photo shoot from Entertainment Weekly. In addition to the picture session, HBO also released several promos that showcase the cast members’ opinions regarding the program. The most recent one disclosed the theme song they will choose for their team in Season 2.
House of the Dragon cast members choose the Team Black anthem
In one of the promos recently held by HBO, the House of the Dragon cast is asked about their choice for a Season 2 anthem for Team Black. Their interesting and hilarious answers are as follows:
Bethany Antonia (Baela): “Freedom” by Beyonce.
Phoebe Campbell (Rhaena): “The Macarena”
Harry Collett (Jacaerys): “Set Fire to the Rain” by Adele.
Steve Toussaint (Corlys): “We Will Rock You” by Queen.
Rhaena Targaryen’s story might deviate from books
The second season of House of the Dragon will center on the younger Targaryens, which includes Rhaena and Baela, Daemon’s daughter. Rhaena is going to receive her own dragon at last, but her backstory reminds me of another character that was meant to appear this season: Nettles. A new rumor suggests that Rhaena will be claiming a sheep-stealing dragon from Vales rather than hatching her own, like she did in Fire & Blood.
