Rhaenyra might face opposition from her council in next House of the Dragon episode

A new week provides new excitement for the upcoming House of the Dragon season 2 episode. With three episodes already impressing fans, the fourth episode is touted to be greater than anything we have ever seen. Titled A Dance of the Dragons, the show is finally getting to the meaty part of the story. Greens and Blacks are finally going to come face to face and battle for the ultimate power.

Neither Rhaenyra nor Aegon II seem to back down from the challenge, making the war even more interesting. With the war just around the corner, both parties are preparing to slay the enemy and claim victory. These latest stills from House of the Dragon season 2 episode 4 reveal the seriousness of every major character in the show.

After the events of episode 3, Rhaenyra’s futile efforts to make peace might be revealed to her small council, leading to the members losing trust in her capabilities. Now we have the latest stills showing Rhaenyra wearing the septa robe from episode 2, with an expression that feels like there’s something wrong at the other end of the frame. It could be that the council finds out about her plans, possibly distancing the council even further from Rhaenyra’s views than we had previously saw them be.

We also have a still of Jacaerys and Baela, and Jacaerys definitely isn’t looking pleased. We assume it might be related to Rhaenyra’s trip to King’s Landing.
