Fan creates an open world Game of Thrones RPG game in Unreal Engine 5

Game of Thrones is one of the biggest franchises in the world. The massive popularity of the HBO epic has made it possible for the streaming giant to look deeper into the MartinVerse and explore more of Westeros. House of the Dragon is one of the spinoffs that came into being because of the renewed interest, and there are many more on the way. But there has been sometime since there has been a good Game of Thrones video game in the market.

Game of Thrones fan creates a realistic open world video game trailer

A YouTuber by the name of TeaserPlay has put together a concept trailer for a Game of Thrones open world RPG video game that looks almost as good as teaser from the show. They used Unreal Engine 5 and lifted some cinematic elements from that Winter Is Coming browser game. Have a look at the trailer right below:

When will the Jon Snow spinoff starring Kit Harington debut?

Francesca Orsi, Head of Drama at HBO, revealed when questioned about the status of Kit Harington’s Jon Snow spinoff said: “We’re just working deeply with the writers to get it in shape for potential greenlight, but at this point, no, no determination on whether it can go all the way.”

The development on the Game of Thrones sequel, however, has come to a complete pause after the beginning of the WGA strike.
