Olivia Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon, recently shared her thoughts on which character she would love to play if given the chance. Surprisingly, her choice is Daemon Targaryen. Cooke believes that playing Daemon would be an exciting opportunity to explore a completely different side of her acting abilities.

Cooke explained that playing a character like Daemon, full of rage and power, would be incredibly satisfying. Cooke stated, “I’d love to play Daemon and do some damage.”

She feels channeling Daemon’s intense emotions would be fun and beneficial for her as an actress. “I think I would, as Olivia, really benefit from that sort of rage,” she added.

For Cooke, the appeal of playing Daemon goes beyond just the character’s rage. She believes that stepping into Daemon’s shoes would be a thrilling transformation. “The purging of all that’s inside of me, I think I’d really get a kick out of that and also make me feel a lot happier,” she said.
