House of the Dragon Season 2 promos come to life: New York and Mexico raise their banners
Which side will your city choose?
Fans, critics, and actors alike are eager to see their favorite characters tackle new challenges and narratives in the upcoming season of House of the Dragon, which promises to be an exhilarating show of bloodshed and combat. And the advertising for the Game of Thrones prequel has just reached another level, as New York and Mexico picked a side in the civil war.
New York sides with Aegon
As the hype for the upcoming installment of the Targaryen drama catches wind, HBO has sped up its promotional efforts. And New York has joined the war, owing its allegiance to King Aegon II. The city has been covered in Green banners expressing their support. New York City also hosted the first House of the Dragon premiere recently.

Mexico picks Team Black
Mexico, too has joined in the war efforts, and it seems to have taken the opposite sides. Several buildings in Mexico were decorated with Team Black’s banners, signifying their loyalty to Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. HBO is definitely giving its all to make House of the Dragon a household name!
