New House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 6 stills have been released. Two of the images stand out by echoing a scene from Season 1. In Season 1, Episode 8, Rhaenyra visits her sick father, King Viserys, as he is lying ill in his bed. In a similar scene, Aemond visits Aegon as he lies injured after the Battle of Rook’s Rest.

New stills from Season 2 Episode 6 released

New stills from Episode 6 highlight key character moments and hint at important story developments. One picture shows Aemond meeting Aegon, who is injured and sick in bed. Since Aemond caused the injury, it will be interesting to see if Aegon remembers what happened and if Aemond is trying to find out or threaten him further.

Another still shows Aegon talking with Lord Larys, who protected Aegon after Rook’s Rest in Fire and Blood and helped him recover from his injury after the battle. We also see Rhaena in the Vale, holding a toy dragon that might have belonged to Rhaenyra’s son, Aegon. This could hint at a new development for Rhaena in the Vale.

Daemon appears in the godswood of Harrenhal with one hand on his sword’s hilt. According to trailers and plot developments, it seems he will execute an important character in this episode, paving the way for another, more important character. This follows the Blackwoods’ betrayal of House Targaryen at Stone Hedge, where they raided the Bracken lands in the name of the Blacks.

Another picture shows Alys with an owl, referencing a joke from the last episode where she was called a barn owl cursed to live in human form. Lastly, we have a still of Rhaenyra with a sword, imitating Visenya after studying her in history books at Dragonstone.
