Though Game of Thrones did not have a particularly favorable ending about 4 years ago, most of the cast and the crew did and have moved on to newer projects. The HBO hit’s showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss‘ upcoming Netflix production, the 3 Body Problem, recently released its first teaser trailer. And even though there isn’t much to criticize about the teaser, Game of Thrones fans are outraged because of one text on the screen – “From the creators of Game of Thrones”.

How did fans react to the 3 Body Problem trailer?

There was a huge variety in the comments section on Twitter in response to the trailer, but the most amusing ones were those making fun of the upcoming show. There are plenty of Game of Thrones fans who are still mad at the controversial finale, and it was evident from their tweets, mostly pointed at the showrunners who have been accused of running the wildly beloved HBO epic to the ground.

Why do Game of Thrones fans hate David Benioff and D. B. Weiss?

A lot of Game of Thrones fans are still bitter about how Game of Thrones seemed to go a different way from how it started, especially after Season 5. Most of them think that the ending was outrageous, with a lot of character plotlines undeserved, underused, and unfinished. There were also rumors that the showrunner duo hurried to wrap up the final season in order to work on a Star Wars project, which got canceled later on. There was even a fan petition to rewrite the final season, and even actor Charles Dance (Tywin) had agreed to sign it.
