Naughty Dog announces new The Last of Us multiplayer game

The Last of Us is one of the most famous video game franchises of all time. Hence when the TV adaptation was announced a few years ago, a lot of fans got really excited and had high expectations for the series. The success of the TV show has prompted the creators to come up with another The Last of Us game, and you can play it with your friends, unlike previous installments.

What is Naughty Dog’s new The Last of Us video game about?

Naughty Dog has teamed up with Escape The Dark creators Themeborne for the brand new board game The Last of Us: Escape The Dark. It is speculated to be a tabletop multiplayer game that is likely to be free-to-play. The game would be a one to five-player RPG with players “taking on the roles of Ellie, Joel, Tess, Bill, Tommy, or Marlene, fans will have the opportunity to weave their own unique story of survival and companionship as they explore an open-world map – attempting to make their way to safety while keeping everybody in the group alive.”

When will The Last of Us: Escape The Dark be released?

When does The Last of Us Season 2 begin filming?

In a recent interview with Collider, Pascal said, “In the year 2023? Oh, what season are we in now? We’re getting into spring? Yes, there is a chance. Yes.” The first season of The Last of Us took around 18 months to film. So, looking at the time gap, there’s a high probability that the second season won’t be here until 2025.
