Matt Smith says the costumes in House of The Dragon are “absolutely beautiful”
A show like Game of Thrones doesn’t simply reach the stature it did without everything being high class. An area where the show truly held its own was costume designing. So it should come as no surprise that its upcoming prequel House of The Dragon will feature some of the best costumes ever designed for TV. House of The Dragon’s star Matt Smith is already a big fan of the artwork, and he can’t stop praising the costume designers for their incredibly detailed and amazing work.
In an Interview with Looper, Matt Smith said, “We have a wonderful costume designer called Jany Temime, who did lots of the “Harry Potters” and she did (the James Bond film “Skyfall”). I have to say the costumes in ‘House of the Dragon’ are just absolutely beautiful. She’s done such great work. That’s one of the things that I think we can really be proud of in this show, that is, the costumes have really delivered.”
There have been plenty of leaks since the last couple of months from various House of The Dragon filming sites, and a lot of them have shown Smith dressed as the Rogue Prince Daemon Targaryen. Fans did seem to have a slight issue with the wig, but the rest of the costume looks absolutely fantastic.
